Greetings! My name is Vicky Roumbos and I am honored to be at Three Hierarchs Academy. I was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada and moved to Southern California in 2002 when I married. My husband, daughter and I moved to Arizona in 2020. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics from Thompson Rivers University in Canada and a Master’s in Education with Specialization in Teaching Mathematics K-8 from National University, California. I have over thirteen years of experience teaching math in both public and private schools. In my classroom, you will see a mixture of student-centered learning, direct instruction, real life application project-based learning and fun! Facilitating questions will trigger students to think critically and will guide students to communicate respectively. My goal is for our students to be problem solvers and to develop critical and analytical thinking skills. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, walking, swimming, cooking, and traveling. I love being in the outdoors and especially enjoy my travels to Canada and Greece. I look forward to another great school year at 3HA. Please contact me with any questions at: Vicky.roumbos@3hacademy.org
